Adobe’s AI-Infused Mobile Editing App is Now Available on the Play Store

0

While one could argue that “AI” has somewhat been diluted due to its status as the go-to marketing gimmick for a lot of brands these days, it should be said that there’s still a lot of actual progress being made with AI-integrated software services. As such, Adobe recently announced the debut of its new Adobe Express Mobile app, which will be available for users on Android and iOS.

With that being said, the new app features Adobe’s own “Firefly” AI model, which handles generative tasks and integrates into mobile workflows for design projects and more. Adobe confirms that Creative Cloud subscribers can also access and edit their designs from Photoshop and Illustrator directly within the Adobe Express mobile app, adding a new level of convenience with regards to on-the-go workflows.

The app does pack a lot of features, including text to image capabilities, a generative fill function which works with text prompts, text effects with generative AI, video templates, animations and real-time captions, quick actions for one-click image editing, content scheduling, and more.

There is one caveat though, at least at the moment – the app is still in beta, although users can download it for free on Android and iOS devices. It should be said that users can access premium features for free while within the beta phase.
